Pack it up.
Getting home with your game:
When packing your game add a layer of ice on the bottom of your Polar Bear cooler. Then place your game on top and pack ice all around. Once packed tight with ice, zip it up and buckle it down and your good to go for 24 hours.
Getting home via airlines:
Remember that ice melts and it will need to be drained off periodically. For this reason, we do not recommend using ice when traveling with airlines. For airline travel, your game must be frozen and sealed air-tight. Once your game if frozen, place in the Polar Bear Cooler and you are good to go for 24 hours.
When doing this it is recommended that you wrap your packets of meat tightly in a towel before placing them in your Polar Bear cooler. This will help protect from sharp edges and take up space that will help to keep your game frozen longer. When you zip up your Polar Bear cooler and buckle it down, you want it to be tight.
PBC Techni Ice:
If you are going to be traveling for extended periods of time and are worried that your game may start to thaw, you may consider using the PBC Techni ice packs. One at the top and one on the bottom should do the trick in most cases. Techni ice can be frozen down to »30 degrees Fahrenheit and will increase the chill factor when traveling. The PBC Techni ice is a great product to have for everyday use with the Polar Bear cooler as well.
Cleaning your Polar Bear:
After traveling with game, you will want to clean your Polar Bear Cooler. To do this, simply spray the inside with hot water, and from the bottom, pull your liner up and out. Wash with soap and a gentle brush.
