Strud,
I am from Reno, Nevada and you helped me with a purchase of your largest cooler bag in preparation for a canadian hunting trip. I had a successful hunt and brought back about 30 lbs of frozen and processed venison. Horror of horrors, my checked luggage did not make my connecting flight on my day home. My bags , polar cooler included, caught up with me the next day! Needless to say i was very concerned about my frozen meat.
When I finally got my bags, all but 2 packages of my meat was still frozen. If it had not been for TSA leaving the zipper open a couple of inches..i believe all the meat would have been fine. The notable statistic here is that from the time i packed the meat in the cooler before i left canada to the time I unpacked my meat when the bags were finally delivered to me...a full 28 hours had elapsed.
The cooler is a great idea for traveling hunters because they can just roll it up empty and stuff it in their duffel bag, thus saving the extra bag fee enroute to the hunt. You can't do this with a hard cooler. My only suggestion to make your product better is to fashion a lock of sorts so the zipper will stay shut in transit. I also figured out your large bag will hold about 45 pounds of frozen processed meat.
If i were Cabelas, I'd be jumping on this product to market it.
Thanks again.
